The Learning Centers are part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. All materials and services are free to qualified parents.

Which schools are categorized as Title I schools?
The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has 19 elementary schools that qualify for Title I services: Barkers Mill, Barksdale, Burt, Byrns Darden, Cumberland Heights, Glenellen, Hazelwood, Kenwood, Liberty, Minglewood, Montgomery Central, Moore Magnet, Norman Smith, Northeast, Pisgah, Ringgold, St. Bethlehem, West Creek, and Woodlawn.

What is Title I?
Title I, which is a part of No Child Left Behind, provides Federal funding to help schools and districts improve academic performance of disadvantaged students. These schools receive extra funds to support their school programs and to insure that all students reach their highest potential. The primary use of these extra funds has been to increase the number of teachers and educational assistants available at the school site. These persons provide one-on-one and small group instruction for at-risk students.

What happens if schools close due to inclement weather or other unforeseen events?
In the event that schools are closed, the Learning Center will be closed and all activities will be canceled
